Years ago, she lost her husband—a police officer killed in the line of duty—leaving her to raise her children entirely on her own. More Than Just Charity: A Celebration of Womanhood
Over the weekend, true to the enduring spirit of Rotary and community service, the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt GRA reached out to put smiles back on the faces of women whose quiet strength too often goes unseen.
After careful identification, the club reached 200 women in genuine need—predominantly widows who shoulder the heavy responsibility of feeding their families with little to no steady income. Through the annual Feed a Family initiative, the club delivered practical support wrapped in profound compassion.
