On Saturday, July 19th, something meaningful happened in the heart of Port Harcourt. The Rotary Club of Port Harcourt GRA came together — not just to celebrate tradition, but to honour a journey. A journey rooted in service. Shaped by impact. And guided by purpose.

The evening marked the handover from the Club’s 15th President, Douglas Okafor, to the 16th President, Patterson Ogon. President Douglas led with grace, clarity, and strength, leaving a legacy of dedication and progress. And now, the baton has been passed to President Patterson — a leader driven by compassion, vision, and an unwavering commitment to community development.
Surrounded by Rotarians, family, friends, and well-wishers, the Club celebrated a smooth, dignified, and inspiring leadership transition. It was a powerful display of what happens when purpose meets responsibility.
There were awards — because outstanding service deserves to be seen and celebrated.
